Plans are underway for the first annual Community Artisan and Farmers Summer Market. Every Saturday from May through October at the Verteran’s Memorial Park (also known as Crosson Mill Park) in Syracuse, area atrtists, craftsmen and gardeners will have the opportunity to display and sell their work and produce. Space is limited and only artists with their own original work and gardeners with locally grown produce may reserve space. There will also be a special spot allocated for our”Casual Neighborhood Gardeners” to bring a chair, visit, and share the bounty from their gardens with others. Some other surprises will be in store for our visitors too. So, keep your eyes and ears open for further details about how to participate in this special community event! The Artisan & Farmer’s Summer Market is being sponsored by the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, Syracuse Parks Department and the Creative Fish.
